That purchase is the first sign of any hope for the Everglades in, well, maybe ever. Everything before this was... baby steps, and mostly political, which this is too but... Restoring the sheet flow from Okeechobee is a REAL step in restoring the river. Which means I don't believe it will happen. But hey! It might!
